Start an appeal

If you cannot retriev a file, you can ask the referees to retrieve it for you.

Potential outcomes​

  • Positive outcome: If the referees succeed to store the file, the file can be retrieved from the referee address (or from the provider).
  • Negative outcome: If the referees fail to retrieve, the deal will be terminated and the provider penalized.

Start appeal​

  1. Go on the Deals page from the sidebar.
  2. Search the deal ID for the data you cannot retrieve.
  3. Click on Appeal.
  4. Sign the transaction in your wallet.
  5. Wait for the appeal. If the outcome is positive, a link with the referees address will become available, if the outcome is negative, the provider will be penalized and the deal terminated.
